'Consent' - Coming Soon!
Team from Day 1 of filming our new series. Left to right top row: Lee, Matt, Katie, Sandra, Claire, Mel, Jo. Left to right bottom row: Jessica, Hannah, Samantha.
Filming is done! Now onto edits…
This is a series lots of you have been waiting for. And we’ve partnered with the best; Mel Gadd from The Sex Education Company and Claire Lightley from Bodysense Education.
Our new Consent & Decision Making series will help learners understand their rights, their choices, and the support available to help them be active decision makers in their own lives.
This series will explore consent in its most basic form, and discuss the sorts of decisions our learners have in their lives, when these decisions might be made for them, and how to express their preferences and advocate for themselves.
Make sure you’re signed up to Learning for Life to get immediate access!
Consent & Decision Making will be released in the autumn term.
This series is only possible because of the generous funding and support we have received from the Albert Gubay Foundation and other grant funders.

Step into the Spotlight
This year’s fundraiser was a bit out of our comfort zone.
But it was so worth it!
Our trustees battled it out with the unstoppable Tailfeather Dance troupe in a dance off, and we think you’ll probably guess who the winners were… but watch the video to find out!
Thanks to our supporters and sponsors, we raised over £10,000 to continue our work supporting individuals with learning disabilities to thrive!
And we couldn’t have done it without our sponsors: Compass Group, Solutions2, Barkers Printing, WPA, Curious Taproom & Kitchen, and Matchbox Motion.
Calling New Trustees!
We’re on the hunt for some brand new trustees to help our charity grow and thrive.
Specifically, we are looking for people with lived experience of learning disabilities - families, carers, friends, teachers - to bring their personal expertise and input to our board. You’ll be a part of a small but dynamic team, who have big plans to create real change in the lives of children and young people with learning disabilities.
