For the third year in a row, we took to the water! Alongside many of our community members, corporate supporters, and Teacher Tommy T, we paddled hard and had so much fun!
Community Cooking Day

We joined forces with Downright Excellent to bring our community together for an incredible day of cooking and a wonderful community lunch. This day helped with our co-production of the How To… Be Healthy part 2 - eating! Our young people told us about what they’d like to learn to do more, and what recipes they’d like us to include.
Oarsome Maths Mission
July 2024
Six amazing teams came along to the Kingston Dragon Boating event for our Oarsome Maths Mission! Combined with our fantastic sponsors, this event raised over £16,700! This will be going towards the creation of more maths videos in Teach Me Too.

Race for Friendship
July 2023
At Kingston Rotary Club’s Dragon Boat event, Learn and Thrive entered several boats to raise money for the Caring Friendships series in Learning for Life. An incredible £14,400 was raised!
Strictly Makaton
May 2022
Our fantastic trustees learnt the Makaton version of Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’ as part of the Strictly Makaton challenge. They raised over £17,000 from this, and kicked off Learn and Thrive’s fundraising events!
