  • Welcome to the How To… Be Healthy series produced by Learn and Thrive.

    This series follows on from Being Healthy, and provides practical activities to do in line with the three main ways to keep fit and healthy: Being Active, Eating Well, and Looking After Ourselves. Click the button below or open the sidebar to revisit the Being Healthy series, to learn the theory behind these three ways to stay healthy.

    Each video has been produced with the help of a professional, and you can learn more about them, their work, and how to get in touch with them below their videos. These professionals and the individuals who feature in the videos have Down’s syndrome, to demonstrate that your learner can do it! We work hard to ensure our learners feel represented.

    There are no resources for these videos, but you’ll want plenty of space, a bottle of water, and a yoga mat if you have one, for some of the videos. There are opportunities to pause the videos throughout, and please do use them. These videos are longer than the typical Learning for Life video. So get stuck in and enjoy!
