Meet The Team

Aaron is an experienced education professional who began his career through the Teach First programme, teaching English and leading English departments in schools across Kent and London.

After leaving the classroom, Aaron worked with Oak National Academy, where he helped lead the development of its national English curriculum and resources, now used by over 200,000 teachers. He now works for UNICEF UK, working on the delivery of the Rights Respecting Schools Programme to schools across London as part of a partnership funded by the Mayor of London’s office.

Outside of his professional career, Aaron is passionate about supporting education and inclusion. He has been a trustee of the Bedgebury Foundation for over four years, supporting schools and young people across Kent through SEND grant-making, and also serves as a primary school governor where he is the school’s lead governor on SEND.

Aaron is dad to a young toddler with Down syndrome, so whatever free time he has is usually spent at football sessions, horse riding, exploring the local park or generally trying to keep up with him!
